Bio
Noted for her unique artistic direction using dark to light color schemes, thin lines, and vibrant contrasts, Ms. Peros has become one of the most sought after artist to come to Phoenix, AZ in years. Originally from Saddle Brook, NJ, Sabrina has spent the greater part of her life drawing, and painting, eventually leading her to study and graduate from the School of Visual Arts (New York) with a BFA in Illustration in 2002.
Some of her biggest influences were and still are Paul Klee, Hans Erni, and Brooke Larson. The majority of her paintings are of musicians and dancers taken from photos she took in Europe and random photos collected over the years.
Sabrina creates through an assortment of deep and vibrant rich colors, that glow to the eye and enlighten the soul. Most canvases start with a dark black space of thought and image, but quickly shape to a sketch and fills with color and strokes that lead your mind in opposing directions, creating a form of pure emotion of the mind.
Some of her highlights include, Featured Artist of the Month at The Paper Heart Gallery, Phoenix, AZ, Laughing Giraffe Gallery Phoenix, AZ, and Sub-Culture Café in which she has licensed some of her works for business advertising, Tempe, AZ. You could also find her painting live as resident artist every Tuesday night at The Paper Heart.
